The Glads

So if you follow me on Instagram (@christa_jayne) you know that these gladiators are literally my jam and I really haven't taken them off yet!  I have been wearing these sandals like nobody's business!  To me, they are the ultimate gladiator and the minute I saw them, I knew that I would wear them to disintegration.  I think that gladiators of all sorts are the perfect sandal for this Summer!  WOO!

Oowee Marant

I really have to start out by saying, this dress was the most unexpected gift from a dear friend (who has a beyond rad blog, Deepinthehart.com, that you should definitely check out here) and honestly I LOVE it and think its just the cats meow!  Sometimes the most unexpected pieces end up being the best pieces!  This dress is a beautiful Isabel Marant, raw silk, hot pink dress that really makes you go Oooweeee! if you know what I mean! (or at least it does for me)!!

Put a Little Denim in Your Step

Hello hello!!

I'm not kidding around when I say just how much I love denim on denim!  I really do, I love all the different colors, textures, and styles.  The more the better, and it continues to make it interesting!  I just got these Friend of Mine overalls that I love, love, love!!!!  This will definitely be a summer staple for me!  I also found a vintage Levi's jacket that I've been wearing everyday.  I am still on the hunt for another style though, so we will see what I can find!

Leather and Mesh

Well hello there, and GOOD morning!!

Let me just start by saying that mesh is really doing it for me this season.  I love the texture and I love how interesting it can make such a simple shirt.  Mesh is definitely the way to go ALL the time!  I am such a huge fan of simplicity, as you may know, so I wanted to keep it simple with one of my favorite black leather skirts!

Jumper Jammin'

 Well hello there!!  

I hope you're having a fantastic week and you're as stoked as I am on the weekend!!  

Thank you so much for the feedback you have given me, both here and on Instagram, about what vintage pieces you are looking for in the store...keep er' coming!!  I seriously love to hear any and all ideas!  

I can't tell you how much this jumper is my new jam!  I love this vintage Lee jumper so much.  I have been really waiting patiently for it to get just a tad warmer here to actually wear the heck out of this bad boy!!  

I am all about the denim right now!  Especially the perfect denim jacket, but also shirts, overalls, jeans...the whole bit.  I think this jumper looks best solo with a color popping lipstick to really drive the look home!  Anyways, I of course love the simplicity of the jumper with my favorite white pumps and some rad Miu Miu cat eye sunnies!

Motion in the Ocean

Good Morning!!  I hope you have just been having an awesome week!!  It's been a very busy week for me.  I was in Las Vegas last weekend for one of my best friends birthday's and came back and hit the ground running...we've all done it, but boy oh boy, its been a busy one!

I have been finding some new vintage pieces that I can't wait to share with you soon, and hopefully you will love them as much as I do!  As for the Fashion or Famine Vintage Store, is there any pieces you happen to be looking for?  I would love to know so I can keep my eye out!!  I've had a few questions about some of the pieces I've recently Instagrammed, but some are just my vintage treasures that I've had for a very long time that unfortunately, are not up for sale.  However, I am trying to find similar pieces for you to buy!  Anyways, stay tuned and there will be some exciting pieces to come!!

Today's look is just so gosh darn easy with this super beachy skirt and one of my favorite vintage raglan tee's!  I really didn't need much else besides (of course) a studded boot and my new favorite vintage belt.   I say it all the time, but I love bold pieces that keep it simple.  Skirt, top, belt, studded boot, done!!

Good Timenz

Well I just don't know about you, but its pretty much my favorite day of the week today!!  Wahoo for Friday's!!

I cannot tell you awesome I think this vintage button up shirt is, and really, I wanted to wear it with nothing else but some jeans and heels.  Honestly, I've said if before and I will say it again, but my favorite pieces are most always vintage.  There is just something about that one of a kind treasure!
